The hair that you have purchased has not been washed or sealed. Before installation you will need to wash your hair. Sealing the wefts is up to your discretion but highly recommended.

I'm often asked about weft sealing and the products I prefer. So here they are (in my personal order of preference) But did you know that even the most luxurious manes may be prone to shed… WHY? The answer you are looking for is in the weft:
Both of these products will work well for sealing the wefts of your Virgin Hair. Once either of these products dries, the wefts are secure and still remain very flexible.

- Fray Check (Illusions Virgin Hair or JoAnn Fabrics)

The following provides general guidance for the care of human hair products. As each individual product may vary, consult your hair stylist for specific instructions:
- Wash and condition hair regularly. Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water
- Detangle hair gently before washing. Do not rub or twist hair
- Add mild shampoo to cool water and swish hair till clean. Rinse thoroughly. Shake out do not brush when wet and drip dry.
- Comb curly hair gently with your fingers from end to top. Do not brush. Curls will snap back into position when hair is completely dry.
- Brush straighter hair in a downward motion straight with the ends. Work your way up to the roots.
- Hair may tangle if general care directions are not followed properly.
PERIODICAL TREATMENTS
Give your hair some TLC. Trim your ends after a few weeks of wearing your hair. Heating: Avoid using heat over 275 F, sparingly use a straightening iron.
DRYING
I chose to let my hair air dry. Other Options are to Comb hair with a wide comb and blow dry on cool heat or low heat settings.
